Central Art Archives
On February 14th 2011 sculptor Kari Huhtamo (1943 -) donated to the
Central Art Archives a large body of material. It includes video recordings,
visual materials, documents and printed products. The data will be stored
in the Central Art Archives under the title Collection of Kari Huhtamo/Kari
Huhtamo Archive.
The material encompasses 83 video recordings of e.g. Kari
Huhtamo’s works, exhibitions and television interviews from the 1970s to the
late 1990s. Photo material includes documents of Kari Huhtamo’s work and
life: works of art, creative/ creation process, installations, exhibitions
and people involved. The oldest images date back to the 1940s. The total
amount of photos is 6790, out of which 4222 are color slides, 491
black-and-white prints , 38 color prints , 2019 black and white negatives, 8
photo like impressions and 2 impressions.
There is also one archival box of
documents, printed materials and other materials. The data is available to
the researches of the Central Art Archives under some restrictions and
within the limitations of the Copyright Act.
