The support of sponsors was crucial to the establishment of the non-profit Kari Huhtamo Art Foundation and continues to be so.

The University of Lapland gave the premises to exhibit the collection. Vähälä Oy and Transpoint Oy Ab enabled the transportation of the works from Helsinki to Rovaniemi.

The Boreas –sculpture is a part of the Foundation’s fundraising efforts. Fifteen numbered pieces were realized partly thanks to the sponsorship of Kavika Oy, which took care of the lasercutting of the pieces and Pakkaus Öhman which packaged the sculptures.

With the co-operation and support of the University of Lapland and the City of Rovaniemi the Foundation has printed a postcard book that includes photos of the Collection of the Kari Huhtamo Art Foundation, Boreas- fundraising sculpture, Flamma Artist- mobile commissioned from Kari Huhtamo by the University of Lapland and Memorial to the Reconstruction of Lapland –monument commissioned by the City of Rovaniemi. Photos were taken by Finland’s most prominent architectural photographer Jussi Tiainen and the layout design by a world-renowned and awarded graphic designer Kari Piippo. The books are available in many major museums throughout Finland.

The Foundation would like to thank Kari Piippo for the graphic design of the printed matters and CEO Ari Ohtonen, AO-paino for his support in printing visiting cards and other materials.
